Growing up in Whiteville, North Carolina, Dr. J. Linwood Jernigan’s home was within walking distance of a veterinary practice. In the seventh grade, Dr. Jernigan started working there. This early exposure to the veterinary profession convinced him that the animal care field was the only choice for him!
